Tots Town – Coronavirus COVID-19

 Update 27 Jan 2022

Face masks are no longer mandatory, but are encouraged.

Update 10 Dec 2021

All visitors aged 11 and over are required to wear a face covering when entering. Tots Town parties and play sessions continue as normal.

Update 19 July 2021

Many of the legal requirement have been removed and all the latest Tots Town policies are detailed within our normal website pages. However, we have left this page live to help with queries. If you have any questions that are not listed on either Rules of Play or FAQs you can contact us here.

Update Dec 2020

Tots Town has re-opened again.  We do enforce the Coronavirus restrictions set by the government – please ensure you are aware of what the latest restrictions are for Norfolk.   Where we see that restrictions are not being followed, be reserve the right to refuse entry without refund.   Please see our Rules of Play for the full Terms and Conditions of booking. If you subsequently find you need to change your booking to comply with Coronavirus rules, please contact us as soon as possible so we can help.   Multi-play passes and return visit coupons have their expiry dates automatically extended to take account of any lockdown closure periods.

Monday 17th August 2020

We are proud to have been involved in the discussions with government about getting indoor play open again.  Work is ongoing to get Tots Town open as soon as possible, and we have started to release play sessions on our booking system from Monday 24th.  Please Like/Follow our social media pages to receive the latest updates.

Update 23rd June 2020

We are awaiting an announcement from the UK government on re-opening of businesses in the leisure/recreation sector.  Once the government announce a reopening date, we will update this page with details of Tots Town’s reopening, booking birthday parties, and how holders of multi-play passes can visit again.

Update 16 March 6pm 2020

Following government guidelines issued this evening, and in the interests of our customers and community, we will be closing public play sessions from Wednesday 17th March. Everyone who was booked for public play sessions have already been contacted. If you have a party booked, then we will be in contact shortly to discuss options.

We have always wanted Tots Town to be the dream play room that families feel as comfortable being in as if it was their own home. The next few weeks are going to be challenging for all the community. Our goal is to be open for you as soon as it is the right thing to do, and not earlier. You can still book birthday parties, gift vouchers and play passes for later in the year as a sign of support.

Play and Annual passes and gift vouchers, will be automatically extended for the duration of the closure. We look forward to seeing you again…. soon!

Update 13 March 2020:

Play Session Tickets

Tickets are non-refundable, but we have temporarily relaxed the 24 hr cancellation policy:

  • Tell us before 8:30am by email to Norwich (at) and you will be given a rebooking code to visit us in the future.
  • If Tots Town is closed due to government restrictions, tickets will be refunded automatically.

  • If Tots Town is closed due to government restrictions, or if we were to close and cancel the booking through our own choice, we will offer you the option of a refund or a move to another date.
  • If we are open to the public and you choose to cancel, then the deposit would not be refunded. If you cancel with more than 2 weeks notice, we will keep the deposit and return all other payments.
  • If we are open, and you wish to move your party to a new date, we will consider on a case by case basis.

Play/Annual Passes

If Tots Town is closed due to government restrictions, or if we close for our own choice, Play and Annual passes will be automatically extended for the duration of the closure.

How can you help?

We have always prided ourselves on having a spotlessly clean venue, and keeping the numbers of people in the venue low. We receive daily updates from the UK government with advice for businesses and follow their recommendations for cleaning and disinfection in addition to the already well proven cleaning routine. You can help with the following:

  • Please don’t attend if ill. Let us know by 8:30am to cancel your booking.
  • Please turn up for your play session at the start time, not earlier. We will be cleaning/disinfecting (as always) to a very high standard between sessions and doors will remain locked until the start time.
  • Use hand sanitizer, next to the reception desk, when you arrive.
  • Pay using contactless methods and don’t bring your own reusable coffee cup.

Should you prefer to play in a non-public play session we can offer exclusive hire to families and small groups; please email for further information.
